Anyone is allowed to list sought after items (start topics) in this forum. Inquiries will be removed 60 days after the original posting unless otherwise requested.
Please remember that only IPS Members can offer palms and plants for sale. And please do not suggest a vendor unless you are certain they are an IPS Member.
The IPS provides this subforum as a courtesy to all those interested in palms. When discussing new acquisitions, deals, or availability of palms/plants, please refrain from mentioning the names of Big Box stores, nurseries, or other outlets that are not IPS Members. Third parties will be permitted to mention the source, price, or availability of plants, seeds, or garden related products in the course of normal Forum discussions if directly acquired from or offered by IPS Members only. Promotional intent or language by third parties should be avoided.
You agree that by participating in the "Palm Exchange" or otherwise engaging in commerce facilitated by Palm Talk you shall not violate any applicable local, state. federal, or international law or regulation and you are not a party or subject to or bound by any law of any jurisdiction, court or governmental body that is likely to adversely affect any agreements or transactions in which you engage as a result of your participation in Palm Talk.

Darod Petty and I are coming to the San Diego area the week of March 16th. We have a large truck and are on a buying trip for Northern California Palm Society. members So far we have almost 200 palms ordered from several nurseries in the area. There are several harder to find varieties we are still on the hunt for: Any Ceroxylons, Dypsis onilahensis, Plectocomia himalayana, Arenga ryukyuensis, Beccariophoenix madagascariensis, Butia bonnetii and purpurascens, Geonoma undata, jubaeopsis caffra, Kentiopsis piersoniorum, and Wallichia densiflora. Ok. I wanna replace my mom's ficus Elastica, but she wants a pink one. Everything I'm seeing is either way out of my price range or the seller has reviews about 2 month delays going back to before the blizzard. A small plant is cool, but I can root a cutting. I'd prefer seeds but I'm not paying $1 each. I think 15-20 would be more than enough. I'd be happy with a handful of seedlings too, but I'm not looking to spend a fortune. We're very ghetto down here. Trades are nice once the weather stays consistently warm and there's a pretty good chance I've got something you'll want or at least consider.
