Anyone is allowed to list sought after items (start topics) in this forum. Inquiries will be removed 60 days after the original posting unless otherwise requested.
Please remember that only IPS Members can offer palms and plants for sale. And please do not suggest a vendor unless you are certain they are an IPS Member.
The IPS provides this subforum as a courtesy to all those interested in palms. When discussing new acquisitions, deals, or availability of palms/plants, please refrain from mentioning the names of Big Box stores, nurseries, or other outlets that are not IPS Members. Third parties will be permitted to mention the source, price, or availability of plants, seeds, or garden related products in the course of normal Forum discussions if directly acquired from or offered by IPS Members only. Promotional intent or language by third parties should be avoided.

To use one of Wal's expressions, Cyphosperma balansae is as rare as hen's teeth here. Is anyone out west willing to ship a 3-5G plant to Florida? Seedlings and 1G plants dampen off too easily and die a slow, horrible death so maybe larger plants are more resilient. Thanks in advance, Ray

Going on a 1 gallon palm shopping spree

It's been four years since I took out the lawn and installed a bunch of small palms in my "bulletproof bed" - the first thing you see as you drive in to my driveway. I made sure to plant it with palms that look good year-round and don't yellow during either the summer or the winter. It's full of Ravenea rivularis, Ravenea glauca, Rhopalostylis, Chambeyronia, Dypsis decipiens, Dypsis onilahensis, and Dypsis leptichelos. They're all big enough now that I'm ready to plants some more, preferably 1-2 gallon palms underneath.
