This palm is rather hard to come by, which is puzzling because it does remarkably well in northern California. I've been looking for a nice 15 gallon or 24" boxed one for over a year and can't seem to locate one anywhere. Anyone have any leads as to what nursery in Southern California may have this palm. I'd drive all the way down to San Diego to pick one up...

As title states, looking for a Ravenea julietiae. Perfect world prerequisites below. Thanks. -Southern California area -I don’t think shipping would be possible but open to it if small -3 to 5G size is ideal but no bigger unless cost is right. Typically it’s too costly and too big of hole to dig. I could do a nice 1G if that’s all that’s out there -trades inquiries welcome Thank you in advance. -dale

Does anyone have any saved pollen or fresh pollen/ inflorescences off of either of these species? I have one individual of each species in my greenhouse flowering/about to flower and my previous attempts at self pollination of each have failed to produce seeds.

Visited Fairchild last week...amazing as usual. This particular trip I really focused on non-palms and took note of these four that I want to try in my garden. I'm interested in buying seeds or live plants. A lead to someone else who may have one of the above is helpful, too. Thanks!

Jubaea chilensis 1 2 3

Does anyone know a good source for Jubaea chilensis seeds? I have tried ordering from eBay and another online seller and both times the seeds were very old and desiccated. I ended up cracking the shells on them all and by the end of that stressful ordeal only had 3 semi viable endosperm. I have had no growth after 2 months of babying them and am about to throw in the towel. 😭 The next step is buying a plane ticket to California and wandering the parks with ziplocks. Lol I appreciate any advice y’all may have. Philippe
