Anyone knows where I might find a source of Chambeyronia "watermelon" in south Florida (or online) that's at least 1 gallon in size? I just planted 4 regular Chambeyronia and 2 Hookeri that's 1 gallon size (about 2' tall). It would be nice to have one or two watermelon for contrast.

Joey? Chamby? Where will I put them?

Welp, I changed jobs. I went from a $10/hr retail job that averaged 25 hours a week to an $18/hr factory job with tons of mandatory overtime. Anyway, after digging through old posts, I want a Joey if I can find one for under $150.. if that's asking too much, I'd like a 1g+ Chambeyronia. Regular macrocarpa, Hookerii, watermelon whatever. Also considered a Rhophie Bauerii but after seeing they're kind of needy as houseplants, I'm convinced it would for a slow agonizing death. Would need shipped to Mississippi and due to cats, would have to be a bedroom houseplant. Outdoors and other rooms aren't safe - everything gets knocked out of windowsills and knocke…

Where to buy mail order needle plams?
by mraroid- 5 replies
Hello... A year or so ago, I found a mail order place in the mid west (maybe the east?) someplace. They sold needle palms, Windmill palms and some Sabal minor palms. I bought a needle palm and a Sabal minor. Now I need to buy a few more. But I can not find this palm nursery again. The prices were fine and they sold healthy palms. I live in Salem Oregon. Can anyone here refer me to this palm nursery? All they sell palms and, and just a few diffrent types. Any links or help appreciated, mraroid, Salem, Oregon USDA Zone 8 or 8b depending on who you talk to. Thanks so much.

Hello, I'm looking for a member who had Brahea edulis seedlings for sale on eBay. Seller was from the US and is a member of this forum. Seeds were collected from few bigger beautiful parent palms that were growing (if I remember correctly) in a public area. Seller shared his data on eBay but I lost the ebay message and would appreciate if that person or someone who knows him can help me out. Feel free to PM me. Best regards
