Not sure where else to post this, but I want to order some seeds from rarepalmseeds.com, and was thinking there might be someone else in California who wanted to combine their order to save some money on shipping and phyto, which can cost more than the actual seeds. I'm not in a hurry, but lmk.

I blew this years ago when RPS offered seeds and some small plants came to market… C’est la vie. If anyone has any leads, I’d be interested. I’m not looking to dig a giant 50 year old plant out of someone’s yard, but rather a 5-15g potted plant that someone has been stashing. Smaller is good too, but I don’t remember seeing any seed batches out in the last few years. Thanks! Mike

Palm donations for Oakland Lakeside Palmetum
by NorCalWill- 0 replies

The volunteer gardening team at the Oakland Lakeside Palmetum is looking for palms to add to the already amazing collection that is growing there. If you're not familiar with this garden, it was started in the mid 1980's, and has been maintained by members of the Northern California Palm Society since then. It is a showcase for palms and other exotic plants that thrive in the San Francisco Bay Area, and it attracts many local and distant visitors each day. Currently, we are working to expand the Brahea collection (though other palm species are also appreciated). If you are palm grower or collector with a palm tree that is looking for a good home, please contact me an…

I'm looking for seeds or seedlings of the selectively pollinated bold white variety that grows in isolated areas away from blue/green colonies. These are reportedly found near Hobe Sound, and in Martin, St Lucie, and North Palm Beach Counties. Also, if anyone knows of any Florida nurseries that carry them, please let me know. Years ago I found a few at a nursery in St. Augustine but they have since closed shop.
