Anyone is allowed to list sought after items (start topics) in this forum. Inquiries will be removed 60 days after the original posting unless otherwise requested.

Please remember that only IPS Members can offer palms and plants for sale. And please do not suggest a vendor unless you are certain they are an IPS Member.

The IPS provides this subforum as a courtesy to all those interested in palms. When discussing new acquisitions, deals, or availability of palms/plants, please refrain from mentioning the names of Big Box stores, nurseries, or other outlets that are not IPS Members. Third parties will be permitted to mention the source, price, or availability of plants, seeds, or garden related products in the course of normal Forum discussions if directly acquired from or offered by IPS Members only. Promotional intent or language by third parties should be avoided.

    I'm looking for seeds or seedlings of the selectively pollinated bold white variety that grows in isolated areas away from blue/green colonies. These are reportedly found near Hobe Sound, and in Martin, St Lucie, and North Palm Beach Counties. Also, if anyone knows of any Florida nurseries that carry them, please let me know. Years ago I found a few at a nursery in St. Augustine but they have since closed shop.

    Looking for Canary Island Date Palm in Houston area

    I am looking to replace my two dead Canary Island Date Palms that have been killed by the February freezing event. Does anyone have or know where I can find at least some 5 gallons and maximum 20 gallons CIDP in this area? I don't want to pay a fortune for some big ones, the ones that I had grew very fast for me and I just want to enjoy their growth. Thank you.

    Trying to find seed, seedlings, or shippable sizes of any of the dwarf Butia species. lallemantii, mattogrossensis, arenicola, microspadix - those are the ones I know of, but it seems like there are so many species on the outskirts that are virtually unheard of. Any ideas?
