Anyone is allowed to list sought after items (start topics) in this forum. Inquiries will be removed 60 days after the original posting unless otherwise requested.
Please remember that only IPS Members can offer palms and plants for sale. And please do not suggest a vendor unless you are certain they are an IPS Member.
The IPS provides this subforum as a courtesy to all those interested in palms. When discussing new acquisitions, deals, or availability of palms/plants, please refrain from mentioning the names of Big Box stores, nurseries, or other outlets that are not IPS Members. Third parties will be permitted to mention the source, price, or availability of plants, seeds, or garden related products in the course of normal Forum discussions if directly acquired from or offered by IPS Members only. Promotional intent or language by third parties should be avoided.
You agree that by participating in the "Palm Exchange" or otherwise engaging in commerce facilitated by Palm Talk you shall not violate any applicable local, state. federal, or international law or regulation and you are not a party or subject to or bound by any law of any jurisdiction, court or governmental body that is likely to adversely affect any agreements or transactions in which you engage as a result of your participation in Palm Talk.

I am doing university project on palm flora of south pacific, And i still lack seeds of howea belmoreana , Archontophoenix alexandrae ,Archontophoenix cunninghamiana, Rhopalostylis baueri , Rhopalostylis sapida Chatham. If you're not familiar with this garden, it was started in the mid 1980's, and has been maintained by members of the Northern California Palm Society since then. I'm looking for seeds or seedlings of the selectively pollinated bold white variety that grows in isolated areas away from blue/green colonies. These are reportedly found near Hobe Sound, and in Martin, St Lucie, and North Palm Beach Counties. Also, if anyone knows of any Florida nurseries that carry them, please let me know. Years ago I found a few at a nursery in St. Augustine but they have since closed shop.

I am looking to replace my two dead Canary Island Date Palms that have been killed by the February freezing event. Trying to find seed, seedlings, or shippable sizes of any of the dwarf Butia species. lallemantii, mattogrossensis, arenicola, microspadix - those are the ones I know of, but it seems like there are so many species on the outskirts that are virtually unheard of. Any ideas?
