Hi, first of all I apologise if I am not allowed to post here, or ask about seeds in this thread. I am not an IPS member, although I may join soon. Hopefully this thread does not get removed. I have been having a nightmare the past few years trying to obtain certain hybrid seeds. It is still very difficult over here in the UK to source certain palms, especially hybrids. There are a number of types I have been looking out for, but I have not been able to get hold of them. For ages they were not available on RarePalmSeeds, then when I did finally manage to order some, the package never arrived. I also finally spotted some Jubaea x Syagrus on the bay, which I promptly o…

Xeronema callistemon

Plenty of seed offers online, but not so for plants. Innertubes say that It can take 15 years from seed to flowering,... and I don't have that length of time ! A friend has a large clump, but I have also read that division can cause serious setback, so I won't ask that of him. Any sources; or any more direct experience with division of an existing plant ? Thanks !

Chamaedorea linearis 'Choco Giant'

This seed lot came through RPS after the IPS Biennial in Colombia. I installed 7 plants in a tight grove. 2 were killed by disease, and 2 were killed by our new rescue dog we recently adopted from the shelter. Does anyone have spare plants of this palm ?? I have 3 remaining, but would prefer to have at least 2 more. I will pay serious money if you could sell a few to me, Thanks ! PS I will be as far south as Thousand Oaks, CA on the week-end of Oct. 18th if shipping would be problematic. https://www.rarepalmseeds.com/chamaedorea-linearis-choco-giant?search=Chamaedorea linearis
