Anyone is allowed to list sought after items (start topics) in this forum. Inquiries will be removed 60 days after the original posting unless otherwise requested.

Please remember that only IPS Members can offer palms and plants for sale. And please do not suggest a vendor unless you are certain they are an IPS Member.

The IPS provides this subforum as a courtesy to all those interested in palms. When discussing new acquisitions, deals, or availability of palms/plants, please refrain from mentioning the names of Big Box stores, nurseries, or other outlets that are not IPS Members. Third parties will be permitted to mention the source, price, or availability of plants, seeds, or garden related products in the course of normal Forum discussions if directly acquired from or offered by IPS Members only. Promotional intent or language by third parties should be avoided.

    I'm looking for any smaller Reinhardtia Gracilis, Latisecta, and Latisecta v. Compacta, as well as Licuala Peltata v. Peltata, Spinosa and Ramsayi. A few of these are in stock in seedling or 4" at Floribunda, please let me know if anyone has any for sale in shippable sizes. I think MB Palms had either Spinosa or Ramsayi a while back, I haven't checked with them yet.

    Does anyone know where to get ahold of small P reclinatas? While on vacation in florida I fell in love with these (along with just about every other "tropical" plant I laid eyes on). And I couldn't help but notice that they seem to naturalize quite easily there, seedlings are easy to find under reclinata clumps/groves. These are hard to find online yet it seems like they should be readily available considering how easily they self-propagate. Thank you.

    Hola, We had the opportunity to collect seeds from an adult Talipot palm in Costa Rica, and decided to germinate them, we had luck and most of them are growing now. Almost a year later, another Talipot palm had mature fruits, and we collected most of them. We have had several people interested in getting some Corypha umbraculifera seeds, but we are very new to this shipping seeds process, so we wanted to know if someone here has information on the best way to pack these seeds to be able to ship to the USA, or maybe another country also, bus specially to the US.
