RULES AND GUIDELINES - PLEASE READ

Anyone is allowed to list sought after items (start topics) in this forum. Inquiries will be removed 60 days after the original posting unless otherwise requested.

Please remember that only IPS Members can offer palms and plants for sale. And please do not suggest a vendor unless you are certain they are an IPS Member.

The IPS provides this subforum as a courtesy to all those interested in palms. When discussing new acquisitions, deals, or availability of palms/plants, please refrain from mentioning the names of Big Box stores, nurseries, or other outlets that are not IPS Members. Third parties will be permitted to mention the source, price, or availability of plants, seeds, or garden related products in the course of normal Forum discussions if directly acquired from or offered by IPS Members only. Promotional intent or language by third parties should be avoided.

You agree that by participating in the "Palm Exchange" or otherwise engaging in commerce facilitated by Palm Talk you shall not violate any applicable local, state. federal, or international law or regulation and you are not a party or subject to or bound by any law of any jurisdiction, court or governmental body that is likely to adversely affect any agreements or transactions in which you engage as a result of your participation in Palm Talk.

By using Palm Talk, including the Palm Exchange, you agree to be responsible for, indemnify, defend and hold the International Palm Society, its Directiors, Officers, Moderators of Palm Talk, and other participants in Palm Talk harmless from and with respect to: (i) any and all Losses related to or arising directly or indirectly out of your participation in Palm Talk and (ii) any and all Losses resulting directly or indirectly from your failure to comply with applicable laws, regulations or international treaty obligations. Therefore any person who is dissatisfied with any transaction should, in an attempt to resolve the issue, contact PRIVATELY the seller or purchaser--as the case may be--involved in the transaction.

    Hey all! I’ve been looking for pandanus monotheca for quite a long time. I’m looking for fresh seed or a couple small plants that can be sent to me here in San Diego. I know rarepalmseeds.com has them now but I just can’t justify a €45 phyto if I’m only getting a couple of packs. If anyone is going to place an order I’d love to go in on it or however you’d want to work it out. This species has been such an obsession for me. I bought some seed and even got them to germinate, but lost them when my collection was shuffled around when I moved mid-last year and they weren’t in optimal conditions when it got cold. I’ll never stop kicking myself for that one. …
