Anyone is allowed to list sought after items (start topics) in this forum. Inquiries will be removed 60 days after the original posting unless otherwise requested.
Please remember that only IPS Members can offer palms and plants for sale. And please do not suggest a vendor unless you are certain they are an IPS Member.
The IPS provides this subforum as a courtesy to all those interested in palms. When discussing new acquisitions, deals, or availability of palms/plants, please refrain from mentioning the names of Big Box stores, nurseries, or other outlets that are not IPS Members. Third parties will be permitted to mention the source, price, or availability of plants, seeds, or garden related products in the course of normal Forum discussions if directly acquired from or offered by IPS Members only. Promotional intent or language by third parties should be avoided.
You agree that by participating in the "Palm Exchange" or otherwise engaging in commerce facilitated by Palm Talk you shall not violate any applicable local, state. federal, or international law or regulation and you are not a party or subject to or bound by any law of any jurisdiction, court or governmental body that is likely to adversely affect any agreements or transactions in which you engage as a result of your participation in Palm Talk.
By using Palm Talk, including the Palm Exchange, you agree to be responsible for, indemnify, defend and hold the International Palm Society, its Directiors, Officers, Moderators of Palm Talk, and other participants in Palm Talk harmless from and with respect to: (i) any and all Losses related to or arising directly or indirectly out of your participation in Palm Talk and (ii) any and all Losses resulting directly or indirectly from your failure to comply with applicable laws, regulations or international treaty obligations. Therefore any person who is dissatisfied with any transaction should, in an attempt to resolve the issue, contact PRIVATELY the seller or purchaser--as the case may be--involved in the transaction.
Under no circumstances will public posts of approbation or disapprobation be allowed. You’re not required to read this forum and certainly not required to participate in selling or buying if you DO. Bottom line: you’re on your own.

Is there anyone who sells Dypsis Decipiens at a reasonable price? I have been looking for two years straight and there was only one occasion and I missed it. Preferably at least two years old as they are quite temperamental when young. If it is big enough to be planted in ground that would be great. But smaller ones that I have to nurse a few years prior to planting are also fine.

Hello my name is Jenny Im from Bunbury in the South West of Western Australia. I have a few of these palms but as they are so slow growing Im not sure how old they are before they flower, one Ive had for about 15 years and still noe flower. It is quite large but only produces one leaf per year. If anyone has some for sale that would be great. Thanks
