ISO: Sabal causiarum, etonia, mauritiiformis, uresana seeds. I own 20 acres of heavily forested land 60 miles east of Houston, Texas, USA. It is right on the border of zone 9a/9b of the 2023 map. Intent to zone push some of these Sabal species on my land. I'm not in a rush to receive the seeds. If you are able to source the seeds listed, or any other unusual Sabal species, please comment to this thread. Thank you! 🌴

Hi Members, I think this is my official first post here. I joined a month ago and spent many hours learning about palms! I live in Concord CA, zone 9b. It doesn't get below 30 here (rarely) and we get a few weeks over 100 in the summer. I am looking for a sun grown kentia palm to plant in semi shady area, possibly full sun. Although we get heat here, at night almost always the temperature goes to low 60 or high 50es. Do you know anyone in the Bay Area sells sun grown Kentias? Or if in SoCal, can they ship to Bay Area? Thank you everyone and Happy Summer Mo

The title says it all. Where can this species/form be purchased from ? I am looking for some plants that are ready to go into the ground, so likely 1 G +. Jungle Music was the 1st place I thought about, but they only seem to have the coastal/lowlands form that have the green leaves. N. TX Cold Hardy Palms is now extinct, so that option is gone. -Matt

Desperately searching for Pandanus utilis!
by JenRiot321- 5 replies

Hello! Been a longtime lurker and my desperation to get this plant has led me to finally make an account! I’m looking for a smaller sized tree, anything from maybe 5 gal to a large seedling size. I have reached the end of the internet trying to get one to me here in San Diego and have still had zero luck. You know when you get obsessed with that “one” plant and need it more than any other? Pandanus utilis has become that one for me. Not sure why it’s been such a long, fruitless search, but anyone who might be able to help me out would be soooo appreciated! Willing to pay cash or trade for any number of the rare plants I have. Please message me! …

I've been thinking of trying Carpentaria Acuminata, Ptychosperma Elegans, and Ptychosperma Salomonense here for a skinny small-ish canopy palm. I found a few random sources for seeds or seedlings, but was hoping to buy a few from a PTer. I'd prefer seedlings if available, just because I have 11ty billion things to do and I keep forgetting to pay attention to sprouting seeds! Please let me know if you have any available or can suggest a reliable source.

Where to buy fresh Butia Odorata & Jubaea Chilensis seeds?
by OriolesRock100- 2 followers

As the title states - I don't know where to find fresh Butia Odorata and Jubaea Chilensis seeds... I have had no luck germinating the 2 batches of butia seeds I've bought, so I fear that the ones I bought weren't fresh. Usually I just buy my seeds off eBay, but I don't know how to guarantee the ones I buy are freshly harvested, and there are no Jubaea seeds on eBay at all. In short, do you guys have any reliable sources for either of these seeds (I'm in the US) or any tips on methodology to germinate them? With the Butias I tried the baggie method with soil and with paper towels, and I tried just putting the seeds in a community pot in a hot room and keeping the soil mois…
