Hello, I'm a newbie to palm talk and Palms in general. I would like to purchase Foxy Lady seeds or seedlings or smaller trees. I'm in the San Diego area and I saw some at the Nursery in Rancho Sante Fe, way out of my price range and all large specimens. Maybe they are just not available because of the prices they demand when grown to a larger size, I would appreciate any insight from all of you with information. Wodyetia X Vetchia non Variegated Wodyetia X Vetchia X Johannes "Desperately Seeking Foxy Ladies!" Thanks, Gregory in La mesa

Hi everyone, I have tried many, many times purchasing seeds of these two plants on eBay and various online seed retailers but have had 0% germination. I think with the Ficus it's probably a case of non-viable seeds as I've germinated other species of Ficus with no problem. I understand these figs need a specific wasp to pollinate them. Does anyone know of a reliable source of viable seed? With the Philodendron, I'm not aware of a particular insect needed for pollination so perhaps I've just been supplied with old, unviable seed on previous occasions. Has anyone had experience growing this plant from seed and what was your source? Will happily pay for seed and…

Butyagrus seeds
by HKO2008- 2 replies
- 1.8k views
hello all, I am from the Netherlands. Over here butyagrus seed is impossible to obtain. At this moment larger plants are being imported, and adding the transporting costs, plants are expensive over here. Importing seeds would be another thing, but nurseries over here somehow have a monopoly. Does anybody have seeds of the Butyagrus? or does anybody knows where i can get them? I would be very thankfull! Greetings from the lowlands, Henri

12 Million Palms Wanted
by Dypsisdean- 10 replies
- 1.8k views
I received this email from an apparent date producer in India and thought I would ask here if anyone knows if this is doable by anyone. "i need high yield dates seedlings produced by micro propagated / tissue cultured seedlings - 12,00,000 seedlings we need this year. If you are interested in exporting dates seedlings please reply" If you have any useful info I'll pass it along. I realize the quantity is a typo, but that is the way it was written. I assumed he meant 12,000,000 but am unsure.
