G'day Palmtalkers I realise these seeds are pretty hard to get a hold off, and if you do get some it's pretty hard to get them to germinate, But If any one has any or ends up getting some, could you give me a shout, obviously very happy to pay for. Thanks Paul

I wish to purchase this bromeliad. I will be in SoCal after the July 19th meeting in Camarillo and will drive as far south as San Marcos. Friends have mentioned that there is more that one plant being offered by this name. Apparently, the true form has rounded (half-circle) leaflet tips. Please advise a source, thanks !

WTB Chamaedorea plumosa
by Patrick- 8 replies

Hello, I'm looking to buy C. plumosa seedlings. or seeds even. There was a listing on e-buy, but the price for 5 seeds was outrageous so no thanks. A couple years ago I bought supposed seedlings from a nursery but they are turning out to look like C. glaucifolia. Shucks. It's still growable here, but not hardy. I expect it to die off with our next big freeze. My flowering plumosa males need a sugar-momma. Thanks for the leads, haven't found any readily available on the internet.... but they must be somewhere...... Thanks!
