Anyone is allowed to list sought after items (start topics) in this forum. Inquiries will be removed 60 days after the original posting unless otherwise requested.
Please remember that only IPS Members can offer palms and plants for sale. And please do not suggest a vendor unless you are certain they are an IPS Member.
The IPS provides this subforum as a courtesy to all those interested in palms. When discussing new acquisitions, deals, or availability of palms/plants, please refrain from mentioning the names of Big Box stores, nurseries, or other outlets that are not IPS Members. Third parties will be permitted to mention the source, price, or availability of plants, seeds, or garden related products in the course of normal Forum discussions if directly acquired from or offered by IPS Members only. Promotional intent or language by third parties should be avoided.
You agree that by participating in the "Palm Exchange" or otherwise engaging in commerce facilitated by Palm Talk you shall not violate any applicable local, state. federal, or international law or regulation and you are not a party or subject to or bound by any law of any jurisdiction, court or governmental body that is likely to adversely affect any agreements or transactions in which you engage as a result of your participation in Palm Talk.
By using Palm Talk, including the Palm Exchange, you agree to be responsible for, indemnify, defend and hold the International Palm Society, its Directiors, Officers, Moderators of Palm Talk, and other participants in Palm Talk harmless from and with respect to: (i) any and all Losses related to or arising directly or indirectly out of your participation in Palm Talk and (ii) any and all Losses resulting directly or indirectly from your failure to comply with applicable laws, regulations or international treaty obligations. "Losses" refers to all actual liabilities, expenses, costs, damages, penalties assessments, demands, claims, including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys fees, expenses and court costs.
You also acknowledge that you are responsible for the consequences of your participation in Palm Talk and any agreements or transactions with other participants in Palm Talk are at your own risk and you agree not to hold the International Palm Society, its Directiors, Officers, Moderators of Palm Talk, and others with whom you are not directly involved, responsible for any Losses you may suffer therefrom.
Therefore any person who is dissatisfied with any transaction should, in an attempt to resolve the issue, contact PRIVATELY the seller or purchaser--as the case may be--involved in the transaction.

I am going to try to keep this short and would love some ideas if you can help please respond. I live in Huntington Beach and plan on purchasing many different types of palms in the near future. I was looking for some places to purchase that are affordable. I am aware of tropical vibe and jungle music (both great places and owners) but just a little out of my budget. I also need some help with placement. what to put where so ideally the places you could recommend might come with some expertise and willingness to help and suggest what would go where. I have heard there are a few great places in the San Diego/Fallbrook area but don't know the names. Thank you for your time!
