Anyone is allowed to list sought after items (start topics) in this forum. Inquiries will be removed 60 days after the original posting unless otherwise requested.
Please remember that only IPS Members can offer palms and plants for sale. And please do not suggest a vendor unless you are certain they are an IPS Member.
The IPS provides this subforum as a courtesy to all those interested in palms. When discussing new acquisitions, deals, or availability of palms/plants, please refrain from mentioning the names of Big Box stores, nurseries, or other outlets that are not IPS Members. Third parties will be permitted to mention the source, price, or availability of plants, seeds, or garden related products in the course of normal Forum discussions if directly acquired from or offered by IPS Members only. Promotional intent or language by third parties should be avoided.
You agree that by participating in the "Palm Exchange" or otherwise engaging in commerce facilitated by Palm Talk you shall not violate any applicable local, state. federal, or international law or regulation and you are not a party or subject to or bound by any law of any jurisdiction, court or governmental body that is likely to adversely affect any agreements or transactions in which you engage as a result of your participation in Palm Talk.

Hi everyone, I'm based in Algeria, and I recently came across a few Queen Palm seeds (Syagrus romanzoffiana) that I found fallen on the street from a beautiful local specimen. What’s really interesting is that the Queen Palms here look quite different from the ones I saw back when I was in Florida and California. The ones here seem to have a slightly different growth habit and appearance — maybe due to the climate or soil — but they’re still striking and graceful. I’ve collected a few extra seeds and would love to trade them with anyone who has seeds of Foxtail Palms (Wodyetia bifurcata) or Roystonea (Royal Palms). Anyone know of a nursery around Orlando/Tampa that has these for sale? Ideally in a 15 gallon or so? My local Lowe's has them but I think all they have is a triple. I don't think they look as good clustered together, personally. Perhaps there are singles at the big box stores if you look around enough.
