PSSC November 17, 2018 meeting
by DoomsDave- 3 replies

Everyone, I'm thrilled to announce the PSSC's next meeting in Anaheim Hills, Orange County, on November 17, 2018. Space. The final frontier, even (especially!) if you have a palm garden. Your palmy artistic ambition often exceeds the physical dimensions at your disposal. Most of us find ourselves, sooner or later, measuring in feet to avoid being too close to a property line, or encroaching on something else, or, heaven forbid, interfering with utility wires. We find, fall in love, then try to shoe-horn it in. If we can. Now imagine a garden that seems divorced from such piddling concerns, with two acres of reasonably level land. A garden where its owner falls …

Be there, don't miss this one. Members of the PACSOA ratpack will be there in person for autographs etc., after presenting their palm adventures of Darwin and surrounding areas. I was going to auction two of my shirts which I can be seen wearing in the Darwin slide shows........ but I just can't part with them. Hope to see you there, it'll be a blast. I'm not sure what the featured raffle plants will be, but one things for certain, I bet I don't win any of them, again.

OUR MAY 20, 2023 MEETING IN RIVERSIDE CALIFORNIA BACK IN THE SADDLE AGAIN We have not forgotten about you-all in the Inland Empire and Los Angeles Counties! During the Covid pandemic, LA and Riverside and San Bernardino Counties had difficulty managing protocols and it was evident that planning meetings in places like them was risky because there was no telling whether or not a county directive might have required us to call off the meeting at the last moment because of a spike in cases. Orange and San Diego had managed to avoid crises, at least most of the time. Our goal is to get back out with a vengeance. This is the start. If you have a …
