At Edith Bergstroms place from 1-4 pm. We are delighted to have an invitation to visit one of the most beautiful gardens in the area. The garden is large and diverse, including several microclimate niches from desert to tropical. Of course there is a spectacular collection of mature and exotic palm specimens to enhance your botanical experience. There will be a potluck and auction. More information to be posted soon. I won't be able to go as I have another commitment. I'm bummed as Ive heard Edith's place is really nice.

I don’t think any of the Gulf Coast Palm Society officers are on Palm Talk, so I will post their meeting information I received. The spring meeting will be in Cantonment, Florida on Sunday, June 1 beginning at 11:30 am. The last information I have lists the officers as being located in Mobile, Dauphin Island, Loxley and Fairhope Alabama and Pensacola, Cantonment and Panama City Florida. They usually have several vice presidents to cover the large area. They meet four times a year and publish a quarterly newsletter. It’s been a few years since I went to one of their meetings, but they usually have a great auction. If you have any questions, PM me with your e-mail add…

The South Florida chapter put together three awsome gardens to tour in Broward County. The weather was beautiful as well as a great turn out of visitors. For many, it was their first time seeing some of these gardens. The first garden we went to was Paul Humann who has 2 1/2 acres and has been there 14 years now. There was at least 8 forum members including myself there as well, so please feel free to add your own pictures if you like. Here's Andrea with Paul Humann as we arrived.
