Chamaedorea oblongata

Caribbean Palms

Recommended Posts

We have beautiful healthy Chamaedorea oblongata in 3 gal. pots for $10.00.

These plants are 5'+ tall and have 6 to 10 individual plants in each pot.

Their glossy green fronds and low light requirements make them an excellent house plant or they can be used outdoors in a shady spot.

They were grown outdoors under larger palms and sailed through 28 F degrees this past winter with NO cold damage.

Available for pick up at Caribbean Palms Nursery, 1584 F Road, Loxahatchee, FL. Phone 561-792-0333.

Sorry, NO SHIPPING.

Hey, Mike, I bought one of these from you several years ago at a palm sale. It is still in the same ceramic pot that I first put it in, and the tallest stem is now 12' tall and inextricably grown up into a large Dracaena in my back patio. These are great palms! They require zero maintenance. I only water mine during the dryest part of the year -- and only then when I think about it, which might be one every week or every other week.

Thanks for the positive response everyone.

Jody, I kept one from the same crop as yours and it's still in the original 3 gallon pot from about 8 years ago. It's healthy and green and maintenance free. My kind of palm!
