For the 4th time in 4 months I returned to Palm Valley w/4 friends.  We pretty much have the new trail down into the valley cleared.

This time I was able to find a nice small Ptychosperma lineris seedling.  One growing in a spot where I could dig it out w/just a skinning knife.

Perhaps someday I'll bring some real digging equipment in and go for something bigger.  But man if I do it's a 3 mile 2 1/2 hour walk out with the palm and the digging gear.  Then there are the two ridges I have to climb w/an elevation gain for each of at least 400' and one decent of about the same.     :P
