I was going to do a poll, but I thought I'd open this one up for discussion instead.

Which palm then do you think or know has the largest inflorescence of them all ?

I think it may be a Corypha,...but which one ?

Overall mass and length. Definitely not number of seeds.

I seem to recall reading that Corytha umbraculifera has the largest inflorescence/infructescence in the plant kingdom, but I think that was in terms of quantity of flowers/seeds rather than volume/mass. I'd imagine it would be up there on both counts though.

The Plant Wals talking has an inflorescence twice the size of that of C.umbraculifera

:blink: any guesses guys :hmm:
