Not been on here for a while and can't seem to be able to upload any photos. I keep getting a banner saying 8mb is the limit!!

I cant even upload 1 photo, haven't a clue on what size the photos are but they are all taken with my iPhone 6s of that helps.

Shame as my Super Silver is quite a nice looking palm :(

Bangor, Norin Iron Zone 9a Min temp normally around -3 Degrees C, rarely -6C. Only 2 x -2.0C so far, verging on 9b this year. No snow or Frost this Winter. Several just subzero's this year, lets hope it stays this way. Normally around 5C to 10C + in winter, with lots of wind & rain. Summers usually better, 20C to 25 C occasionally 25C to 28C, also quite humid being a coastal town

Hi,

Its clear your stills that you have taken are above 8mb,may be they are in Full HD res. either use a software like ACDsee in your Pc and down size it to 1 to 4 MB.Since iam an android guy know nothing about Iphones.

Or you can shot a new still in your iphone using less resolution in its camera settings..like 640x480 or 1280x720.BTW in those camera settings itself it will be writing as up-loadable format for social media sites, select that option if you have that option.

Hope this helps.

Love,

Kris.

love conquers all..

Here is my Brahea 'Super Silver' in upslope south Kona now almost 6 ft. tall.  It has grown mostly on its own rarely given supplemental watering and never fertilized but occasionally mulched lightly.  The underside of the leaf is very silver blue.  We can get dry periods at times but our humidity level always stays quite high.  It's beginning to form a short but thin fibrous trunk.  The thin petiole remains unarmed.

Hawaii Island (Big Island), leeward coast, 19 degrees N. latitude, south Kona mauka at approx. 380m (1,250 ft.) and about 1.6 km (1-mile) upslope from ocean.

No record of a hurricane passing over this island (yet!).

Summer maximum rainfall - variable averaging 900-1150mm (35-45") - Perfect drainage on black volcanic rocky soil.

Nice sunsets!
