John, your results are great :greenthumb:

Thanks, Pivi. The weather here is now a lot more suited to growing Hedyscepe, and seven weeks on, the first leaves are fully opened. Of the 90 I'm growing, this bunch of 30 or so, are the most vigourous.

Pivi, the seeds were germinated in an old plastic compost bag. 100 seeds, a bucketful of regular, commercial compost without added water, and left outside in the shade over spring and early summer. My contribution was minimal, to say the least. I got 88 seedlings to sprout.

The seeds i have look good inside (embrio, endosperm) and outside. They haven't become moldy or something like that.

So i guess i just have to wait.

What do you think is the best temperature to keep the seeds at once they germinate?
