By the way PACSOA stands for Palm and Cycad Society of Australia, and we mean business. Amongst other things, John Dowe will talk about the effects of Cyclone Larry and how things (palms) have coped.

You want to know about palms ?, I mean do you really want to know ?, well you better get on board and come along to this meeting. No prizes for second place. Call me if you need a lift, you can jump in the back of my ute.

Great talk last night and John is bringing out a new book next year, an extensive study of all the 60 odd Australian palm species, should be a beauty.

I gotta say we were pretty lucky! First raffle I've won in a long time. As for Newcal, well, he always seems to win something...
