These were the photos from October 29th. And now here are the most recent ones from November 13th!smilie.gif

Archontophoenix alexandrae, finally with a clean trunk free of dead leafs and now naturally dehiscing its dead leafs! In the previous weeks,i gently helped the older leafs dehisce as they couldnt fall on their own,but left the last dead leaf on to dehisce on its own as i didnt want to rush things and risk injuring the trunk. Well, much to my excitement,i found it laying on the ground the second day of my stay in Pyrgos that time! Its great to see its finally dehiscing its leafs on its own!smilie.gif

Thank you very much for your replies and kind comments Ante and Janni!smilie.gif

I am glad you think so! :) I like my Archontophoenix a lot too, especially now that they are trunking!drool.gif

I went to Pyrgos last weekend again and thought i would post a few photos i took! Its not been much since last time i was there so i mostly took photos of my not so well documented plants plus some new plantingssmilie.gif

Here they are!

Some potted bananas along with a palm and cycad, brought to Pyrgos for overwintering and ground planting as soon as i open and prepare some new patios meant for them. In the photo you can see Musa ''Chini Champa'',M. ''Pisang Ceylon'',Coccothrinax alexandrii var. alexandrii,M. ''African Rhino Horn'',M. ''Hua Moa'',M. ''Brazilian Tall'',M. ''Pisang Klotek'',M. ''Misi Luki''(a Pisang Awak subgroup banana, probably ''Namwah Tall''),a cycad and M. ''Meko''

Archontophoenix alexandrae. This one is thicker trunked than my other Archontophoenix for the time being, probably because it gets more sun,and has its first ring of above ground trunk just visible and more should be revealed once it sheds its dead leafs!drool.gif
