Got myself an early Christmas Present - Its a Dioon but am not sure of the exact species (or variety).

I am assuming that its D. edule but the leaves are green not bluish. I have heard of several D. Edule varieties such as Quartero and Palma Sola -- can anyone point out what variety this is?

Looks like it will push out some new leaves :drool:

Gene, that looks like Dioon edule var. edule to me... which is the most common variety in cultivation. It does have green leaves. Nice plant!
