Hey Guys,

Real nice...

Do you over winter your bananas outside in zone 8? Does the stem die down in winter?

I know a few people who wanted to know if there were any varities of bananas that they could fruit in zone 8...

How do you rate goldfinger for zone 8??

About 4 to 8 frost a year...ave yearly min temp about 27F

About 8 inches of rain a year.

Thanks Chris! I'm not sure how these goldfingers are going to do, it's my first time with these. There are about 7 species back here, but this is the only one producing. Hopefully they'll get big enough to enjoy edibly. I'll keep you posted on the progress. Normally I level and mulch and they come back.
