Glad you all liked the photos. The TPIE show is a really good one to attend, if you ever get the chance, go to it.

Thats all I have, I had more but many were blurry and I deleted them, I accidentally had the wrong setting on the camera when I first started taking photos.

Eric, when you say "Cold Tolerant". To what level? Any guesses?

They will tolerate low to mid 30sF. In the past, many of the Ag hybrids were tender and below 50F would cause them to yellow and below 40 would cause the stems to die back. Some growers started looking for hardier varieties or started testing to see which couuld handle cooler temps as it was a problem shipping them in the colder months. These were supposed to be some of these hardier types.

We have grown some in the ground here that have survived low 30sF under tree canopy. They include;

'Alumina'

'Cory'

'Emerald Star'

'Jewel of India'

'Queen of Siam'

'Silver Bay'

A. costatum

A. modestum

This summer we planted 'Cecila' and 'Nicole' out. They are larger growing ones. Since we hit 31F last night I am curious how they fared.

Wow. That is good news. I will have to try to track down some of these and test here in SoCal.
