Last night around sunset the Mono Titi's stopped by the Bali House.

Then this morning, the white faced monkeys showed up looking for a green coconut to drink from.

This guy found one and got busy pulling off the husk.

He used his teeth to get it started, then he used his hands to rip of the husk in strips.

Thanks everyone.

Pivi, they are not really tame, but the Mono Titi's are probably the most friendly. They will come right up to you and take a banana out of your hand.

The white faced monkeys are a little more aggressive and sometimes they will hiss at you if they feel threatened, but mainly they just go about their business and ignore us.

Palmhut1, they have never bothered a guest that I am aware of, except when they come in the house looking for food. If they see a bowl of fruit in the house, they will come in and steal a piece of fruit. Most guests love seeing them on the pool deck and in the trees around the house. Usually when people arrive, the first question they ask is "will I see monkeys?". Usually by the end of the week, most guests have too many monkey photos. :)

Southlatropical, kids staying at the house go crazy when they see monkeys up close and personal!
