Washingtonia filibusta

I just dug this small filibusta out of the ground......I do not want it.

If you do, its yours, just come and get it.

It is about 2 1/2 feet tall and has suffered throughout its life....however, the trunk at the base is about 5 inches in diameter.

Thanks.

It doesn't show the pure characteritics of a filifera, as the color looks too green and the petioles are too short. It has been my experience that the arming of the filifera is smaller than on the washie and these are similat to 'pure' washingtonia.

However, the petioles do not show the redness of the the washie.

In any case, its academic, the palm has been claimed.

Thanks,

John
