Gulfsteam is a beautiful, small Town on A-1-A.It is hard to see much as many of the Houses are found off rabbit trails through the Australian Pines. The Florida legislature passed a special exemption for the Town's Australian Pines, allowing their continued existence along the roadway:

And here we go:

It is a quiet place without as many palms as I would like but a few:

The Australian Pine Casuarina equisetifolia is part of the local vegetation right where i live . If i walk 500m to the forshore they are growing also on the hill above me . They are not as invasive as in Florida . !

Old Beach ,Hobart

Just find one by the side of the road, break off a branch then stick in a pail of water and it will root.

The weight of lies will bring you down / And follow you to every town / Cause nothin happens here

That doesn't happen there / So when you run make sure you run / To something and not away from

Cause lies don't need an aero plane / To chase you anywhere

I prefer them grown from seed (not that anyone asked! ). Those grown from cutting tend to grow straight branches and trunks whereas those grown from seed tend to get a bit funkier in their growth habits.
