Monday usually sucks, but today was a great Monday. Today I recieved my Mules, 45gal and 1gals. They look great and I can't wait to put my 45 gal in the ground this weekend.

I want to say thanks to Richard at Brooksville Palms in FL, and Eric of Mule Palm Nursery who together are providing mules at a reasonable price and with great quality. I love my little double-headed mule!

I'm sure I'll be ordering some more soon..... :D

You have me green with envy, and an aching head from swooning onto the floor and missing the Swooning Sofa . . . .

Those look like wonderful plants, and I (I'm sure among many others) will be waiting with bated breath to see how they grow!

Great looking Mules Spencer. Mark Lynn of Mule palm nursery deserves most of the credit. He is the owner and pollinator of mule palm nursery. I am thankful for both Mark and Richard for taking me under there wing and teaching me what they know. Here is a photo of what your double may look like when it gets larger. I am sure you have seen the front of Richards house with his double mules. The Date palm in the middle of the Mule palms did not make it through this cold winter, but the mule palms are doing well.

Hello Spencer. Just took some photos of the parent palms that your newly acquired xbutyagrus came from. Sorry for the water marks. My image converter is not working right.

Thanks Eric they look great, the parents look like some fine looking palms. Once I get the mules in the ground I'll take some pictures and put them on here. Erik have you put any of your mules in ground in WA yet? whats the largest you have up their right now? When is the next time your doing a road trip across country with more Mules from FL to WA? I might purchase some 1gals if your heading through this area on your way back.

We put a couple seedlings in the ground. They did not stand a chance with the foot and a half of snow we have had. 14f 4 times. The largest ones we have right now is a double 15 gallon. Mark may be doing a road trip up to Dallas area to drop some seedlings off. I can have him stop by Richards and pick some more up for you if you want them.

Thanks, you could contact eric who has posted on this topic. Eric is located in WA but also in FL. I'm pretty sure its Eric who runs mulepalm nursey. There is also Richard at Brooksville palms in FL. I don't have his contact info in front of me but try "ph-farms" on the web. If eric doesn't get back to you first I will send the # to Richard or Eric's e-mail. Eric and Richard have the same mule palms they originated from the same location.

Good luck,

-Spencer

Great ones. Mule palms can be a good palm for here in the future, there are some people over here now that growing it quite well without protections, so the first signs are positive.
