Very nice!

I have both yellow and regular Clivias, both bloom like h#ll, and I love them both.

Pics to come after the Dark Tower fades in the rearview at the end of the day . . .

I like them more when they have the orange ones close by to show the contrast. Also got to get the variegated ones.

Dear GONZER:

I Started to raise YELLOW CLIVIA in about 1985 when I got one plant from JACK INGRESEN'S family.----------------- ( TREETOP NURSERY Anaheim)

A ONE GALLON plant with a flower was selling in 1985 for $960.00

I divided my first plant every two years for many years and started to sell them ( ONE PER customer) for $25.00 each in the late 1990's

The retailers were selling them for $160.00 as of the year 2000

They now sell from $ 20.00 to $60.00 depending on flower ( DIVISION OR SEED ) and size.

I have some of them in 3 gal cans with flowers ( NOT from seed) for $20.00

They are getting more common from seed, but the divisions from the original bright yellow variety that I have are still very rare.

They may be a bit more common, especially your way, but those are still very fine flowers! I have a San Marcos Yellow flowering right now, but it has flowers that are rather thin where your flowers are really thick looking and way better than mine. I would love to get offsets from something like that. MY favorite still is Dave's "Sunrise Sunset" which turns from apricot to pinkish each day as the flower gets older, and on top of that I can smell the flowers in the greenhouse 40 feet away. I will see if I can attach a picture.post-199-1239850272_thumb.jpg.
