I'm a few miles north of Gainesville, Florida, and need S. schizophylla for breeding purposes. I'd be very grateful for any offers w/ price.

Best Wishes,

Merrill, For some reason, we have more than a few random and tall Akirury Palms down here. My guess is that most folks do not even know what they are or what they should sell for.I did notice several tall ones at the Breaker's recently and maybe their palm/plant specialist would have some idea of availability and cost.

Last fall the Walmart here had 7 gallons sun grown, one of which was actually flowering even though it was only 3' tall overall for $17. That doesn't help much, but send MikeinFL a PM. He also stocks those and I bought a 3 gallon from him last fall. I bet he has tons left and his prices are very reasonable.

You'd need a 'BIG' one right?

Prolly gonna have to head down South for a specimen.

Hi, Mike:

Sounds good! How far from blossoming do you think the seven gallons are? Is it possible to ship either the 25 gal or the 7 gal to Alachua, which is less than 20 miles from Gainesville?

Many Thanks,

merrill

Last year I grabbed some of those seeds Bubba. Every one germinated.
