I gave my Mom a 5 gallon Dypsis lanceolata a few years ago. It grew well behind her pond in filtered light. Now it's up to a large 15 gallon size plant and is getting too large for the spot, so guess who gets it now? Me! Boooyeahhhhhh!

That group of Dypsis is the epitome of graceful to me. My sp mayotte insists on almost leaning against the edge of the pot in a similar way. I just wish they a bit more cold hardy.
