ID Arenga species

Recommended Posts

I bought this palm from a local market and it was labelled Arenga engleri. I planted it as 2 footer in a 200 ml pot and it has grown rather large in 4 years.

It doesn't seem to be engleri. I have sought ID before I know, I thought I would post an ID seek again as there are way more players on the board now, I would like to give them a shot at guessing this species.

One of the lower leaves measures 3.6 metres.

Arenga westerhoutii.

Sounds good to me too. Especially the rate it's growing.
