Sometimes we are so busy we do not look around. Someone was discussing clumping Dypsis cabadae and I thought about it but I got derailed. I took a look when I got out of my car last night and guess what?

Looks like Lute Olsen to me...

7 miles inland. Elevation 120ft (37m)

no cabadae for you! Nice lute though. If they are in alot of shade the trunks stay a nice pretty green, but no where near the green of a cabadae. Also the leaf base rings are 3 times as thick as a Lutescens.

Jeff, I am working hard posting Palm pictures and few people read or comment. I can only resort to clear mistakes to get response! Real Dypsis cabadae to be posted soon!
