Thanks for the fabulous tour. Seeing all those palms that take so long to grow makes me wish I started my garden with some of them twenty years ago. To plant now, I need fast growing palms.

Pogobob's yard is probably the best example of being able to collect as many plants as you can and still have a yard that is aesthetically pleasing. One of the best yards in SoCa for sure. It is about time for an updated thread on Pogo's yard. PRA team where are you? Guest photographer Kim maybe? Could be epic.

Sooo many great palm gardens that Ive seen on palmtalk but this one may be my favorite.

I really like that it has a yard to stand and swoon on. It does photograph well.

Very Nice Yard...My first thought was Wow, great collection...My second thought...How do those P. Robellinis survive?... 30 years of planting everywhere around them yet they have been able to stay under the radar without getting the axe...And look good doing it...Open planting area is scarce...How much longer can they last?

Bob - Your yard has been my "inspiration" yard, and one that I always reference to. It's great to have a 30 year old, mature yard to look at. It's always a challenge to balance the collector and landscaper in me. I tend to lean more towards the landscaper. As Aaron has pointed out, your yard represents the perfect balance that I am hoping to acheive.

All the mature Palms in this garden are something special. But that Cyphopheonix elegans in the backyard on the NE perimeter ...........there is nothing like it.
