Phil and Hugh are finally going to regale us on their experiences of the big Madagascar trip they were a part of. Remember they took off to the Seychelles as well.

I refer to the big trip that included Doctor John Dransfield and Jeff Marcus etc.

Love to see you there next Tuesday night at Mt Cootha BGs, and I hear Colin Wilson may be in town, so you better bring some extra Monte Carlos Mike and Andy.

Happy Gardening

Here are some previous threads from the main forum on the Madagascar trip we'll be hearing about at the meeting for our feature presentation just to whet your appetite.

That's our man Phil with Jeff Marcus in the very first post .

That really sucks...The best meeting presentation in a long while and I can't go because my kids have flu...damn it!

Ah it wasn't that good Daz, just some of the rarest photos of some the best palms in habitat you could ever see. Phil didn't have time to cover Madagascar so the presentation focused on their Mascarene Islands stopover to Réunion and Round and then up to the islands of the Seychelles, Praslin and Curieuse I think.

Hope all get well at home Daryl, I won 4 plants at the raffle by the way, I should keep these alive, Pinanga coronata, Chamaedorea tepejilotes, Archontophoenix maxima and a cordyline.

Townsville ratpack trip looks on and I think I'm going after all.

Happy Gardening
