That's amazing. So 20 years of growth from seedling to what looks like a 7 ft OAS?

Great look in your yard btw. I'm looking at planting blue agaves with the jubaeas in fall.

Do your math again....it's only 11 years by the dates he listed.

I don't even track my own birthday, or anyone else's for that matter.

Good to know it's 10. Impressive growth for that time period.

@BS Man about Palms So I'm having a hard time tracking down a Jubaea Chilensis in the 15gal or smaller size.

Seems most growers I'm finding grow them, dig em out, stick them in 24 or 48in boxes, and sell them for big $$$.

Any ideas of growers you know of in San Diego area that might have the fun size?

Thanks in advance, Christopher

Are you willing to plant yourself or need someone to do it?

Zone 10a at best after 2007 AND 2013, on SW facing hill, 1 1/2 miles from coast in Oceanside, CA. 30-98 degrees, and 45-80deg. about 95% of the time.

I do some experiments and learning in my garden with palms so you don't have to experience the pain! Look at my old threads to find various observations and tips!

Depends on the size. Anything bigger than 15gal I need a team lift.

However my landscaper did find two 15 gallons. Here's one of them.
