I'm in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and hoping to gain from your experience with soils for cycads in pots. I have many plants, but not enough potting to make a commercial mix or buy bulk soil.

Currently I'm considering a promix base with amendments of sponge rock and aliflor.

Thanks,

Chip

Be very careful with soil & watering schedule or else it can be detrimental to cycads..

Thanks for this, I have lost a few cycads in pots to rot. Deeper pots looks the go.

Happy Gardening
