South East Queensland Group - Dec/Jan Meets

Recommended Posts

Dear SE Queensland members and friends,

DECEMBER

The next outing is Sunday, December 13, 2009 when we visit Utopia Palms and Cycads at Valdora, on the Sunshine Coast.

Meeting time is 10:00 am; Teresa and Clayton will give a garden tour, followed by a visit to their incredible nursery.

BBQ lunch including soft drinks will be provided at no cost. Please join us!

JANUARY

There is no meeting in January, as Australia day falls on our meet date.

FEBRUARY

First meeting will be Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 7:30pm at Mt. Coot-tha. Topic TBA.

(I was thinking the rat-pak should give a slideshow on the Townsville trip. Of course, many of us were on the trip, but I'd love to relive it thru the group's many photos). Any thoughs, pakers?

Thanks Mark.

I intend to turn my pres into a dvd with dialog if any palm society is interested. I'll include a life size cardboard cutout of myself with interchanging hawaiian shirts.
