Definitely Zamia furfuracea -- and a very nice dwarf specimen at that. Has it been grown as a bonsai?

Moni,

Nice going.

The common name for these is the cardboard palm as the leaves are stiff.

Yours looks like it had been restricted in that old pot for some time.

It should now produce more foliage with more root space.

Hi Jim!

Thanks - I hope, she will grow now. This name I have never heared :D

As I bought this Zamia it was called "Designer palm" in the shop   - and the seller said, that I can cut the coming leaves to keep the "design"

Do you think, that I can put die plant (in the pot) outside in summer - protected from rain ???? Which temperature should be the minimum????

Moni,

I know nothing about the minimum temps for this plant.

Here we can grow them anywhere. Sun or shade all year.

Best not to trim it IMO.

Moni, this plant likes full sun and heat and will not have a problem with lots of water during the summer months as long as the soil is well-draining. It can tolerate temperatures in the mid- to low-30s F (around 0 C) for short periods of time if unprotected and perhaps a little colder in a protected area. Prolonged cold in the low 40s or 30s F will cause it to defoliate, and prolonged temperatures in the low 30s to high 20s F would likely kill it. Frost will likely cause it to defoliate regardless of the temperature.

This is actually the most common species of cycad here in south Florida now that the cycad aulacaspis scale has killed off most of the sagos. Good luck!
