I would be inclined to go with Geonoma epetiolata, but then there are probably several species that I don't know are native to Costa Rica and several species native to Costa Rica that I don't know.

I don't know what palms these are  but I took the pictures while at the Sloth Rhabilitation Center  south of Limon Costa Rica

I am sure those are coconut-palms (Cocos nucifera).
