If Ron wins, he might pay us all kick backs. Problem is that it will all be in Home Depot merchandise. I'm hoping for a screwdriver set!

Kidding aside, Ron, great pics! Hope you win.

I added my vote. What a great accomplishment, and what great creativity.

I figured I'd revive this thread for another go-around. I'm in second place. I think the person in first has pretty much got it locked up. This contest ends on August 31st, so there's still room for substantial change. I've also added some more images since this was first posted. Thanks everyone who voted for me.

Nice to see Agave parryi, which must be from the region. I wonder if Ziziphus parryi, a lotebush, could be found. If it's anything like Florida's ziziphus, it should be an unimpressive spiny shrub, but instensely fragrant when flowering.

Great yard.

Ron,

I really dig on that area with the hammock and the Peppers. I'm no fan of Peppers but the way you've utilized them in that setting is great.

Sorry I can't help you out more. I voted once for you at work and once at home.

Ron are you still in second? unsure.gif

If all the palmtalkers got on this and voted, it could turn into a nice close competition! rolleyes.gif
