We have a small clump here at Leu Gardens. Used to have 2. This one has never been a vigorous grower. It seems to be very sensitive to nematodes on our sandy soils, even more so than other bananas. The one clump died off completely last year. The remaining one has 2 or 3 stems but seems more invigorated this year. Have only had a couple stems fruit but never got fully formed fruit as rats or squirrels chewed them. usually as the trunks got tall they would topple over as the nematodes had reduced the roots and they didn't have any support in the sandy soil. I need to add a thick layer of compost,leaves and heavier soil over the remaining plants.

'Burmese Blue' is believed to be a variety of Musa itinerans, possibly a new unnamed one. Going Bananas had previously been growing it, not sure if they still do. I think Excelsa Gardens might have or had it. Here is a photo from a few years ago;
