What on earth are you talking about? Besides, rumor has it, San Diego is as cold in the summer as my house is in the winter! Oh ye have little faith in the palm maniac in the inland empire! Dictyocaryum lamarckanium is still looking good by the way! Same with marojeyja darianii.

Don't torture yourself Eric. Stick to Washies & rhapidophyllum hystrix; or maybe pine trees or something. They might survive if your summer heat doesn't kill them. I'm just watching your back bro..

If you're intent on planting expensive annuals, I did buy a reasonable size 2 gallon at Jungle Music earlier this summer. It might also be something that Jerry Anderson has. We need to make a trip there so I can spend your money. I've got good taste in palms.
