Maybe nothing special for many of you, but I am proud of the first flowers of my dictyosperma album grown from seeds. . I was really surprised because I did't believe that the tree is already mature.

Congrats!

When did you plant your Dicty?

I've got one that's about 8 years old, and it's about that size, which is incredible for the frozen tundra of La Habra, California . . . ..

Hi Dave

In former times, I was not methodic in recording my palm growing activities. Only since I learned a lot here on Palm Talk I am monitoring and noticing data. I guess I collected the seeds in 2003 in the Botanical Garden in Kisantu.

I know I was a bit lazy last months in posting here in palm talk having been three months in Europe. I promise to improve. As compensation here a spontaneous pic taken five minutes ago from the balcony in front of my room - "my place in general".
