It does have that startled look, doesn't it Paul.

I think it was surprised it was getting some attention!

You know, I am going to be in Fallbrook this weekend anyway....I might be able to get a hall pass to venture a little further southwest...

Eric, I'm enclosing an application to the SoCal cactus society for your benefit. I hear their latest journal has an article regarding mixing Cactus & cattle skulls in the front yard. Also one about seeding your upwind neighbors yard with tumble weed, so that you get the full effect in summer.

Friends always,

Bret

Bret,

thanks for your support on my new enrollment into the cactus and cattle skull society! I appreciate your endorsement. No one would no better about a water conserving garden then you. Of course, with my lenient water rates here deep in the heart of the Inland Empire, I'm entitled to enjoy the decadence of Roystoneas, Kings, Dypsis, , Majestys, Caryotas, etc. When you live where I do, such water loving plants can thrive given a little TLC. (Tender Loving Care.) Not THC you prop. 19er...settle down.

Care to enlighten the rest of the group on your recent summer's water fees? Oh yeah..I forgot. You live by the Coast! You don't need to water, all that Natural Marine Layer and such provides all the moisture and hydration your plants require. Must be nice! At least you have that going for you... How's college tuition treating you? Gotta love that UC System! I'll be looking for my first issue of the so cal cactus society...Can't wait to read about the Indigenous Death Valley "cactii phillipensis..." common name "Cactus of No One."

Try Eric, try. Then get down here & dig that Phoenix that has a red "Hold for Eric" tag on it. (Despite the numerous offers I've had on it). Then I'll have room to plant something from Joe also. You're single handedly holding up "the recovery".
