I saw something squirming around the base of my house last night in the dark and lookey what I found :D

A baby gopher snake! These guys get really large! I found a gopher hole and let him go right down in it. I watched for a few minutes but he was in there and didn't come out. Hopefully he'll catch the gopher in there.

Matty,

hopefully you'll be able to keep him(or her) around.....they are great snakes for eliminating rodents........and right now the mommas are in their dens breeding new ones.........great snakes, and they keep pests (sometimes of the human kind) out of the garden.

Post a sign....'Vicious snakes on property. Cross at your own peril.'
