What are the most commonly used P. dactylifera cvs in Palm Desert/La Quinta area landscapes, presumably from local commercial groves? (I've been working in La Quinta. with a lot of dates whose exact ID isn't a necessity, but I'd like to learn how to call them out.)

I don't have pics at the moment, but I could probably ID from good pics/descriptions of other locally-grown trees.

Any links or pics appreciated.

SoCal and SoFla; zone varies by location.
