Never mind...I found some pics....beautiful form. What is the germination rate for your seeds and what are some of your methods for germination? ...for a cycad newbie such as myself.

Germination rates are quite high I say 50% but reality will be more like 80% +

Pop the top off the cone pour in pollen that is suspended in deionized water. Add a smidge of joy dish soap to break the viscocity of the water makes the pollen mix with the water.

The trick is to catch the female cone receptive!

Check out my other adds.

Kirkwho?? that´s a REAAALLY nice form. So lehmanii comes in best, better and nice form??

do that kirkwood needs winter rain protection? do they get winter rains in their native habitat? and the aemulens is just impressive.

Randy, I really like those raised beds of you.

Randy, how much for the blue E. Longifolius seeds? I have been looking for these for a while. What do you think the germination rate is on these?

Thanks, Chad

Christian,

I would think that Randy would not try to send CITES Appendix 1 seeds or plants across the US border to anywhere.

I usually buy this plants in the states and then i cross them my self to mexico, some purists would say that is ilegal to do that, but not for me,ilegal would be buying plants taken from their habitat, stolen plants or things like that!

Randy's seeds are DA KINE!

what's DA KINE means ?

"Da Kine" is Hawaiian slang talk for "the best" ("Da" means "the" and "Kine" means "kind"}. "Da Kine" can be used in several ways and have many meanings but generally means a "good" or "best" product. In this case it means Randy's seeds are very good. Now I wish I had ordered some. Hope they are available next year.
