Zone 10a at best after 2007 AND 2013, on SW facing hill, 1 1/2 miles from coast in Oceanside, CA. 30-98 degrees, and 45-80deg. about 95% of the time.

Thanks Colin! If Troy insisted it was a Dypsis, that would have been my guess!! Very pretty, but I'm guessing a bit more sun would have helped it grow faster..

Is that eckmanii invisible to the naked eye? :lol:

What I love about your pics Troy, besides being great photography, are that they are different from the ones that Daryl took when he was there, different from mine etc., Colin indeed has such an amazing house and garden that it takes many varied view points to capture it's wonder.

I spoke to Col yesterday actually, sounds like you had a full on time, he wore me out in a few hours :D
